    These are a couple of 1290 enclosures that are getting painted.  I ordered several of them awhile back and I am getting a few of the new circuits built in them.  They are alot smaller than the standard 1590 sizes that I have used in the past, so I don’t think they will hit the regular rotation, but for simple 1 knob guys they work fine.
I have also made a decision regarding the “production” (read: stuff I build that isn’t pre-ordered) pedals.  I have decided to NOT put battery snaps in them for a multiplicity of reasons, the primary one being environmental concerns.  The best explanation for this is from Dano at beavisaudio.com here.
