This has been a side project these last few weeks.  A fully loaded ThunderFuss is going into this enclosure (and it will be pretty tight).  This one hasn’t been claimed yet, so it may go on my own board, since I don’t have a pretty version of the pedal in my set-up.  If you want to see more check out this gallery.

I have also started a quest regarding small 1/2 watt solid state amplfiers.  This started when I was putting together a quick little amp to troubleshoot a pedal one night.  I got tired of going between the garage and the 2nd floor of my house to check things out.  I found the schematic of the classic “Lil Smokey” amp and built it real quick.  I threw it into a thrift store Christmas tin to make sure it was grounded.  The battery was almost dead, but I was able to test the circuit out and fix things.  The next day I changed the battery and plugged the amp through my 4/10 cab in my studio.  I was floored at the amount of tone that came through.  It really was amazing.  So I am off to play around with the different variations of the 386 opamp guitar amps that are out there.  Let me know if this interests you.
